About Gabriel Smith
Background & Education
Gabriel Smith has practiced law in Alabama since his admission to the bar in 2012. After graduating cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Patricia Sellers. Following his clerkship, Gabriel opened his own practice in downtown Opelika where he continues to serve individuals and businesses across the state.
Experience & Recognition
Over the years, Gabriel has handled a wide range of matters, from criminal defense cases in Lee County to complex civil litigation. His dedication and skill earned him the distinction of being named a 2024 Super Lawyers Rising Star. He is an active member of the Alabama State Bar Criminal Justice Section and personally sees every case through from start to finish.

Personal Life
When he's not in the office or courtroom, Gabriel enjoys spending time with his family and fishing on nearby Lake Martin.
